

GO Milling covers 2.5-axis wireframe milling and simple 3-axis operations. Its operations include contouring, pockets, thread milling, facing, spiral creation, drilling, tapping and boring.
Machining can follow straight, tapered or swept walls. Automated face-milling strategies include spiral, zigzag, back-and-forth and one-way passes.
Freeform geometry creation
Create machining geometry or edit imported elements. Graphical selection determines available operations, without requiring repeated chaining, trimming and connecting of every element.
Graphical tool definition
Graphical tool definition displays the dimensions needed for setup. Choose predefined tool types or define custom form tools and check their geometry during creation.
Multi-process programming
Apply roughing, semi-roughing and finishing to one geometry selection. Processes remain associated with each other and the source geometry to accommodate subsequent updates.
Polar and cylindrical milling
Drive one rotary and two linear axes for wrapped three-axis paths. This extends milling to polar and cylindrical operations and rotary repeats.
Advanced pocketing with VoluMill
Pocketing supports open sides, islands, bosses and pilot or corner drilling. Choose breadth-first or depth-first machining and plunge, ramp, peripheral-ramp or helix entries. VoluMill Wireframe adds controlled-removal high-speed roughing.
Hole-making subroutines
Hole-making includes standard, fine and back boring, drilling and tapping. Thread milling and built-in linear and rotary broaching extend the available operations.
Toolpath visualization and verification
Three-dimensional toolpath rendering shows the tool’s cutting action and previews machining and surface finish before the program is run.
CutDATA
CutDATA provides over 71,000 feed and speed recommendations for the material database. Users can configure the data to reflect their materials and machining practices.
Advanced coordinate systems
Multiple coordinate systems support modeling and workpiece preparation, together with four- and five-axis rotary positioning.
Utility operations without cutting
Program parking moves for non-standard axes, such as a quill or W-axis, and machine accessories including robots, pallet changers, steady rests and tailstocks.
Probing, optional add-on
The optional Probing add-on programs setup measurements and in-process inspection. Measurement cycles are inserted as G-code at selected points, with probe positioning, orientation and safe moves handled by the software.
