

GO Pro Milling supports preparation and machining of complex molds, dies and tooling. It extends GO Milling and GO Solid Milling with additional surface and solid modeling capabilities.
Advanced high-speed 3D strategies control finishing, entries, exits, remaining-material regions and operation splitting. Geometry preparation includes parting lines, feature extraction and toolpath projection onto surfaces.

Extended surface modeling capabilities
Even solid-model jobs may require surface creation or modification before machining. GO Pro Milling adds tools for this preparation of molds, dies and complex components.
Automatic parting-line generation
Generate parting lines from the part extents to support mold-half separation and preparation for removal of the molded part.
Extract and heal for cores, cavities or electrodes
Extract/Heal suppresses interfering details and repairs the surrounding geometry. The extracted solid can then support core or electrode creation.
Multiple offsets
Assign separate tool offsets to machined surfaces, protected part surfaces and fixture geometry, controlling approach distances for each surface type.
3D projection machining
Define a path from reference geometry, including contours or text, then project it onto the target surfaces to generate machining geometry.
Advanced 3D high-speed machining
Advanced 3D with High-Speed Machining extends surface and solid machining, including finishing, remaining-material control, entry/exit control and operation preparation:
- Additional surface-finishing processes.
- 3D toolpaths limited to remaining material.
- Extended control of entry and exit moves.
- Direct machining of faceted bodies, including imported STL files.
- Automatic core/cavity recognition for inside-out or outside-in cutting.
- Operation splitting based on wear and tool extension from the holder.
- Automatic filleting to avoid sharp concave surface corners.
- Batch toolpath generation.
